Revenue Enablement Manager, Japan
Sales / Revenue Enablement | Japan and APJ (hybrid)
Hungry, Humble, Honest, with Heart.
The Opportunity
We are looking for an energetic, execution-focused Revenue Enablement Manager to join our APJ Revenue Enablement team. Based in Tokyo, this role focuses on empowering our sales organization to achieve excellence — equipping them with the knowledge, tools, and confidence to win in a competitive market. While the role is based in Japan, there will be regular collaboration with enablement peers and sales teams across the broader Asia-Pacific & Japan (APJ) region and global participation in events and programs.
In this role, you will bridge global GTM strategies with local enablement execution. You will act as a trusted partner to Japan Sales Leadership and adapt content as required for the local seller requirements. If you thrive in a fast-paced tech environment and enjoy blending your local market experience with broader regional impact, this role is for you.
What You’ll Do
Strategic Partnering: Collaborate closely with Japan Sales Leadership to align enablement initiatives with organizational priorities and revenue goals, driving execution, and providing data-driven insights.
Execution: understand the enablement priorities for Japan and map global enablement initiatives to support these priorities. Plan additional enablement experiences tailored to the address local needs e.g. skills gaps, industry vertical knowledge
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with local Product, Marketing, Sales specialists, Technical Sales and the APJ and Global enablement team to ensure unified messaging, go-to-market alignment, and consistent customer engagement.
Onboarding & Field Readiness: Manage local Japan onboarding cohorts while contributing content and support to the standardized APJ New Hire Onboarding curriculum.
Enablement Operations & AI: Leverage enablement platforms and AI translation/content tools to streamline localization, personalize learning paths, and optimize materials for both Japan and regional APJ usage.
Culture & Community: Contribute to global initiatives such as Sales Kickoff (SKO) and New Hire Onboarding, ensuring engaging and impactful experiences that bring our culture to life.
Self-starter energy to own your enablement experience, where you'll learn by doing and proudly achieve your Nutanix sales certifications during your onboarding period.
What You Will Bring
Japan Market knowledge: Deep understanding of the Japanese B2B enterprise tech landscape, including local buying behaviors, partner dynamics, and sales culture.
Facilitation & Training Skills: A flair for delivering engaging, interactive learning experiences that drive behavioral change in both Japanese and English environments.
A data-driven approach to measuring program impact and optimizing results.
Experience with AI technologies to accelerate content creation, personalize learning experiences, and continuously optimize enablement materials based on data and performance insights.
Ability to work in a supportive, autonomous environment. A proactive and positive attitude and ability to be flexible, creative and have a bias for action
Cross-Cultural Collaboration: Ability to work seamlessly across diverse geographic teams, adapting your style when collaborating with colleagues and stakeholders across APJ (e.g., ANZ, ASEAN, India).
Exceptional communication and influencing skills, with Native or near-native fluency in Japanese (for local delivery and stakeholder alignment) alongside business fluency in English (to actively participate, lead initiatives, and collaborate across the APJ and Global enablement teams).
Self-starter energy to own your enablement experience, where you'll learn by doing and proudly achieve your Nutanix sales certifications during your onboarding period.
Experience Requirements
4–5 years of professional experience in Sales Enablement, Commercial Training, Sales Engineering, or B2B SaaS Sales.
Proven track record of supporting sales teams in Japan within a global or regional APJ matrixed tech organization.
Experience collaborating with remote, cross-border teams across the Asia-Pacific region.
Hands-on experience with modern Enablement platforms (e.g., Highspot, Seismic, Mindtickle, Gong, or similar LMS tools).
Nice to Have:
Experience co-designing or scaling enablement programs across multiple APJ sub-regions.
Familiarity with sales methodologies adapted for APJ and Japan (e.g., MEDDPICC, Value Selling, Challenger).
Prior experience running onboarding cohorts or manager coaching programs in a multi-country setup.
How we work
This role operates in a hybrid capacity, blending the benefits of remote work with the advantages of in-person collaboration. For most roles, that will mean coming into an office a minimum of 2 - 3 days per week, however certain roles and/or teams may require more frequent in-office presence. Additional team-specific guidance and norms will be provided by your manager.
